CICO is for dumb people.Increasing "energy out", otherwise known as boosting your metabolic rate, or exercising more, does NOT result in body fat loss. This is because body fat is regulated by a myriad of hormone / endocrine signals, most specifically leptin.Expecting to raise energy needs and lose body fat from creating a "calorie deficit" is like trying to hold your breath to reduce your respiratory rate. Guess what happens? You breathe frantically when you let your guard down....
